The federal government has cancelled over $720,000 worth of USDA commodities shipments that were slated to go to the Second Harvest Food Bank in East Tennessee. That could impact families in our area who rely on food assistance programs.
As of Tuesday (4/1/2025), Second Harvest Mobile Food Pantry deliveries were still scheduled for our region.
The Second Harvest Mobile Food Pantry will be in Cumberland County at The Church of God on East First Street in Crossville on Friday, April 11 from 10am Central until all food is distributed.
The Mobile Food Pantry will be in Fentress County at the South Fentress Park in Clarkange on Tuesday, April 15 at 10am Central.
Second Harvest is working to replace the food and donations can be made at SecondHarvestETN.org
