Rolling Roadblock Scheduled on I-40 in Putnam County on Sunday, April 13, 2025 from 6am to 8am, both directions, from MM 273 to MM 286

A Tennessee Highway Patrol/Officer assisted rolling roadblock has been scheduled for this Sunday, April 13^th on I-40 in Putnam County for utility work in both directions beginning eastbound at Mile Marker 273, which is the Smithville-McMinnville Hwy 56 exit,  and westbound at MM 286, which is the South Willow Cookeville Hwy 135 exit.  The work and rolling roadblocks will be conducted this Sunday from 6am to 8am. Message boards, signage, and law enforcement vehicles will be present along I-40 and ramps. Motorists should be prepared to stop and expect delays.
