Cumberland County Mayor Allen Foster has proclaimed April 2025 as Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness Month in Cumberland County and he released a statement saying he stands with the Blue-Ribbon Committee in bringing awareness to this worthy cause. Mayor Foster asks all citizens to work towards ending any and all forms of child abuse and neglect by creating better and more resources for those in need, and engaging in necessary conversations with friends and family.
