At least two people reported items stolen from them at the Crossville Flea Market on Highway 70 North on Saturday (May 10, 2025).

The first victim was a Flea Market vendor who reported his cell phone stolen.  He noticed his black Samsung A8 with a protecteve case missing shortly after 9am.  He had put the phone down on a table while he was selling goods and that’s the last time he saw it.  The victim tried to call the number and says it rang through two times before it was shut off.

A short time later, a Cumberland County Deputy was flagged down by a female at Lantana Baptist Church who said she had just been to the Flea Market  where her purse was stolen from inside her vehicle between the times of 11 A.M and 12:30 P.M. The victim said she called Discover to have her credit card disabled and found out that there were two fraudulent charges to the card.

The investigation is ongoing.
