Crossville Car Dealership Targeted in Facebook Scam

Authorities are investigating a potential scam involving a fraudulent Facebook page that falsely claimed to be affiliated with a Crossville car dealership. Blue Bird Motors reported the scam after a customer alerted them to a fake Facebook page using the business’s name and address. The page, titled Cheap Affordable Trucks and Cars for Sale, claimed buyers only needed to pay a down payment and delivery fee. When an employee called the number on the page, a man with a strong accent identifying himself as “Jeffery” answered. After the employee revealed she worked at the actual location, he hung up. Repeated calls were also disconnected. Blue Bird Motors confirmed they are not affiliated with the page.
