Longtime local businessman Garry Wayne Hood has passed away from health complications. He was 70. Mr. Hood began his career in Mortuary Science in the mid ‘70’s and in 2001 he became owner/manager of Hood Funeral Home & Crematory, LLC. in Crossville. Mr. Hood also served many years on the Cumberland County Fair Board of Directors and also as President of the Fair Board.
Visitation will be held Saturday May 17, 2025 from 4pm-7pm at Hood Funeral Home and again on Sunday May 18, 2025 from 1:00-2:00pm one hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will follow in Green Acres Memory Gardens.
