Fall Creek Falls Utility District remained under a Boil Water Notice on Friday due to several major leaks and customers were asked to conserve water.

Some areas in Bledsoe County reported  they had been without water for over 5 days and counting.

The water company said Thursday that three leaks had been repaired and they were still searching for the main cause of the outage.

Workers from Fall Creek Falls State Park and a crew from Sparta were called in to assist.

The Lab fitness facility in Pikeville welcomed those without water to come use their showers.

On Friday, crews from Warren and surrounding counties were helping to locate the cause of the water outage.

Fall Creek Falls Utility District said they would be be handing out bottled water at Mt Crest Fire Department and Fall Creek Falls Fire Department until 6pm Friday evening(5/16/2025). They do still have bulk water in the tanker truck, but you will still need to bring you own container for that.

The water company, which serves Bledsoe and Van Buren counties, is posting updates to its website and Facebook page.
