A Crossville woman has relinquished almost a dozen dogs after Cumberland County Animal Control was dispatched to Clear Creek Road and Wallop Lane on Friday (5/16/2025) to a report of someone dropping off 4 dogs in the area and speeding away.
Authorities recognized the animals as belonging to a Keyes Road address. They made contact with the dog owner who reportedly said she knew she needed “to do something with those dogs.”
FOCCAS animal rescue agreed to help and the owner signed over 11 dogs of various ages and sexes. She said she would keep 2 female dogs and has been advised to have them spayed.
She was issued a citation for Allowing Animals to Run at Large and is due in General Sessions Court on June 9th.
