FBI Director Kash Patel has called Memphis, Tennessee the “homicide capital of America.” He said the Bureau is addressing the issue and will be rolling out one of their task forces to the Volunteer State. Over the weekend in Memphis at least twelve people were shot, three fatally. Both Memphis Mayor Paul Young and Senator Brent Taylor welcomed any assistance the FBI can give to make Memphis safer.
