Multiple people were injured when a skydiving plane crashed Sunday afternoon (6/8/2025) in Coffee County. According to a press release from the City of Tullahoma, the DeHaviland DH-6 Twin Otter departed Tullahoma Airport at approximately 12:30pm with 20 onboard. The plane experienced an issue shortly after take-off and hit some trees before crashing near the airport. Of those injured, three were sent for medical treatment via helicopter and one sent by ground transport for more serious injuries to local hospitals. Other minor injuries were treated by first responders on scene. No ground facilities or airport facilities were damaged and no injuries were reported from the ground.
