Beginning Thursday, June 12th, TDOT contract crews will close a section of State Route 84, also known as Monterey Highway, in Putnam County from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Satuarday. The road will be closed at at log mile 3 to continue slide repairs. The remainder of the time, the roadway will be reduced to one 10-foot lane controlled by a temporary traffic signal through June 19th. A detour will be posted.
Drivers are encouraged to use caution as they travel through this area and expect delays.
