Organizers canceled the remainder of the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival late Friday due to weather forecasts of significant precipitation for the annual event in Coffee County. The festival had begun Thursday with performances by Luke Combs and Dom Dolla, with major acts like Tyler the Creator, Olivia Rodrigo, and Vampire Weekend now canceled. Portions of the venue were evacuated around 1:30 p.m. on Friday because of heavy rains. Refunds will be issued with single-day tickets and parking passes receiving a 100 percent reimbursement, while multi-day passes will be refunded at 75%. Authorities warned of heavy traffic as 80,000 attendees departed, prompting the closure of I‑24 exits 111 and 114. This marks the second weather-related cancellation in Bonnaroo’s history, following 2021’s shutdown due to Hurricane Ida.
