The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency reports that hunters harvested a total of 29,037 turkeys across the state this season.
– 1,840 were bagged on public land
– 27,197 on private land
– 78% of successful hunters took 1 bird
– 89% of harvests were gobblers
