The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office says Deputies recently completed a rigorous 50-hour Basic SWAT School, hosted by the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office and organized by the Tennessee Tactical Officers Association.
Participants included Sgt. Jason Powers, Deputy Holden Atkinson, Deputy Jordan Winningham, and Deputy Chris Page who attended to enhance their tactical skills and readiness.
Members of other agencies attended the training as well as Special Agent Kobe Cox with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation which is assigned to Cumberland County.
