Interim Director of Schools Dr. Rebecca Farley has been unanimously voted as the new Cumberland County Director of Schools by the Board of Education.
BOE members spoke highly of the other candidate, Dr. Randy Shannon, but in the end the Board felt Dr. Farley was the more experienced choice for Cumberland County.
The school board approved to enter into contract negotiations with Dr. Farley and the BOE will hold a Special Called meeting on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at 4pm.
