A broken pole on Miller Avenue near Martin Elementary and the Miller Mart knocked out power Wednesday afternoon in Crossville. Around 5pm over 1,400 customers were without electricity in the immediate area and VEC expected part of that area would be without power for several hours. According to the VEC outage map, scattered outages elsewhere in Cumberland County had knocked out electricity to over 140 other customers. Crews had powered restored to all but 7 customers in Cumberland County by 9pm Wednesday.
