Westbound traffic on Interstate 40 in Cumberland County came to a standstill Saturday afternoon when a crane truck overturned near the 334 mile marker. The truck was rounding a curve around 2:30pm when it went out of control and flipped on its side. The driver had to be extricated through the rear window. She did not appear to be injured and was walking without assistance. Traffic was backed up for several miles.
