Rockwood Parks and Recreation has officially opened its newly completed ball courts, offering local residents updated spaces to enjoy basketball, pickleball, and volleyball.
The project was a collaborative effort supported by Mayor Jason Jolly, City Administrator Becky Ruppe, Councilman Jason Reed, and the Rockwood City Council. Several city departments, including the Fire Department and Street Department, also played a vital role in bringing the project to life.
Special thanks were extended to the Parks and Recreation team, including part-time personnel, for their dedication and hard work in completing the upgrades.
City officials say the new courts are now open to the public, and families are encouraged to come out and enjoy the improved recreational space.
