The TBI says a now-former Carter County corrections officer has been indicted on two counts of Sexual Contact with inmates. Twenty-eight-year-old Matthew J. Gray turned himself in and was booked into the Carter County Jail on a $10,000 bond. The TBI began investigating Gray last December and he was terminated from the Carter County Sheriff’s Office when the allegations surfaced.
