The Fairfield Glade Police Department along with other law enforcement agencies in partnership with the Tennessee Highway Safety Office will be conducting Sobriety Checkpoints and saturations throughout the Fairfield Glade Region on Friday July 25th from 6pm until 2am in efforts to rid the roadways of impaired drivers. Checkpoints may be located on Peavine Road ,US Hwy 70 and Peavine Road, and include Hwy 101. Officers will be paying special attention to the impaired driver that has chosen poorly to drink and drive on these roadways. Working together we can rid the roads of impaired drivers, saving lives and families in Cumberland County. Overtime attained from these events is paid through a grant from the Tennessee Highway Safety Office.
