On Thursday (8/14/2025), Ashton Cole Sensing pleading guilty in Putnam County Court to Second Degree Murder of a 2-year-old boy.
Police say that in December 2023 Sensing admitted to throwing the toddler into a wall and hitting the child, causing him to become unresponsive. Ventura Mora-Francisco died three days later from a traumatic brain injury.
Ashton Sensing received a sentence to serve 40 years at 100%. (Press release courtesy PCSO.)
