The first Cumberland County Safety Day is set for Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Cumberland County Complex, located at 1398 Livingston Road in Crossville.
This family-friendly event brings together local and state agencies to promote public safety awareness with hands-on activities and demonstrations from participating agencies, including Cumberland County EMA and EMS, the Tennessee Highway Patrol, and TBI. Attendees can check out fire trucks, police vehicles, a TWRA boat, EMS vehicles, and even a Blackhawk helicopter. There will be a smoke tower, fire extinguisher safety demos, car seat checks, and THSO’s seatbelt convincer. Plus, try out the beer goggles and CARFIT assessments to learn more about vehicle safety.
Food will be available from Miller’s Smokin Hot BBQ and The Custard Cabin.
This is a great opportunity to learn about safety while having fun with the whole family.
