Thirteenth Judicial District Attorney General Bryant C. Dunaway reports that 52-year-old Wade Ellis Williams pleaded guilty to Sexual Exploitation of a Minor in Pickett County Criminal Court and has been sentenced to serve six (6) years in the custody of the Tennessee Department of Corrections at 100%.
According to DAG Dunaway, the investigation was initiated after receiving a cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) alerting investigators to a cloud storage account containing child sexual abuse material. Wade Williams, already a convicted sex offender, was identified as the owner of the account. A forensic analysis of William’s electronic devices found child sexual images in his possession.
