The Cumberland County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) is sponsoring a Stewardship Poster Contest. The theme for this year’s contest is “Home is Where the Habitat is”. The theme encourages citizens, schools and communities to think about how important habitats are not only in our everyday lives but to the health of the planet.
The contest is open to kindergarten through twelfth grade students. Cash prizes will be awarded to the local winners. Awards will be presented at the SWCD’s Annual Awards Dinner in November. The winner in each category will be submitted to the Tennessee Association of Conservation District’s State Contest. The deadline to submit posters to the SWCD Office is October 7, 2025.
