Crossvile Man Tracks Down Stolen Phone, Suspect Arrested

A Crossville man who left his iPhone 11 in the Walmart restroom was able to track it down to the Cumberland Medical Center ER where he confronted 34-year-old Michael Adam Howard.  The victim stated Howard denied taking the phone but eventually gave it back.  Police made contact with Mr. Howard and placed him into custody.  Once at the jail, various substances were found in Howard’s underwear.  Howard was charged with Theft of Property, Contraband in a Penal Institute, Simple Possession of Fentanyl, Simple Possession of Methamphetamine and Simple Possession of a Schedule 3 Drug.
