On Monday, (Sept. 22, 2025), TDOT has scheduled routine inspections of the I-40 bridges over State Route 1/Highway 70 in Crab Orchard. This will require lane closures on Highway 70 on Monday from 8 AM until 11 AM. Work will begin in the eastbound lane at 8 AM and will move to the westbound lane as the inspection progresses. Flaggers will be present to direct traffic through the work zone. Motorists are advised to be alert to the presence of flaggers and be prepared to stop when approaching the I-40 overpass from either direction.
