In an effort to remove impaired drivers off the road, the Tennessee Highway Patrol will conduct a Sobriety Checkpoint in Cumberland County on Friday, October 10th on Highway 70 East at Schaffer’s Rock Yard.
Also this Friday, a Sobriety Checkpoint will be held in Morgan County on US 27 at Gobey Road, and in Putnam County on State Route 136 at the Bangham Community Center.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol and local law enforcement remind all motorists to drive sober, avoid distractions, obey speed limits and always wear a seat belt. (Image courtesy THP.)
