Funeral services have not been scheduled for Richard Alan Benson, 66, of Sparta. Richard is survived by his siblings Kathy (Rick) Krause, Jane (Al) Kelly, Joann Benson, and Barry Benson; his son John Benson; his stepchildren Michael Scott and Kim Moore; and his grandchildren Riley Moore and Madalyn Scott. A special thanks is extended to Effie Sparkman, his sister-in-law, who helped take care of Richard in his final weeks.
