A Criminal Complaint has been filed in federal court against a former Director of Nuclear Energy Programs at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). According to the affidavit, Andrew Worrall has been charged with Sex Trafficking of a Child, Exploitation of a Child for the Purpose of Production, and Attempted Coercion and Enticement. The investigation began after an 18-year-old girl, who told Worrall she was 16, sent several screenshots of a text conversation between herself and Andrew Worrall to the Employee Concerns email at ORNL. The affidavit also details explicit messages involving another 17-year-old girl.
