One person was killed and another badly injured Monday in a two-vehicle crash in Putnam County. It happened shortly before 5:30pm on Clarkrange Highway and shut down the road at Meadow Creek Road. According to the THP, 54-year-old Alon Stout was driving a 2011 Volkswagen Jetta east when the vehicle crossed the center line and collided head-on with a 2002 Toyota Camry driven by 30-year-old Nubi Alvardo. Stout, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced deceased at the scene. Alvardo was wearing a seat belt and sustained serious injuries.
