Body of Norris Brothers Excavating Employee Recovered After Trench Collapse in Union County

Two employees of Norris Brothers Excavating, based in Crossville, were trapped in Thursday morning’s deadly trench collapse in Union County. There were working at Big Ridge State Park. Union County EMS said one patient was flown by Lifestar to the University of Tennessee Medical Center. He was listed as “potentially critical”. The body of the other man was recovered Thursday evening.  The Tennessee Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigationg.
