The Overton County Grand Jury has indicted 49-year-old Edward Louis Wayne Randolph, of Livingston, on charges of First Degree Murder in the death of his girlfriend, 47-year old Hope Parrott. Randolph is also charged with Abuse of her Corpse.
On July 31st, Hope Parrott’s body was found in a burning refrigerator that had been dumped in a ravine on Sunk Cane Road in Crawford.
The TBI and Overton County Sheriff’s Office worked the investigation and the Grand Jury found sufficient evidence to establish probable cause that Randolph committed these crimes.
District Attorney Bryant C. Dunaway reports the case will be placed on the Criminal Court docket February 22, 2026 for the defendant to be arraigned.
