The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office has announced the retirement of Cpl. Jeff Fitzgerald after many years of dedicated and faithful service. Cpl. Fitzgerald was one of the original SROs under Sheriff Casey Cox. In addition to his work at Crab Orchard Elementary School, Fitzgerald served with distinction as an SRO Supervisor, mentoring other officers and strengthening school safety programs across the community.
