The Emergency Medical Services family in Putnam and surrounding counties is mourning the loss of retired paramedic Major Danny Heady, who dedicated 42 years of service to EMS. He began his career in 1983 and mentored countless providers. Putnam County EMS (TN) said “he exemplified what it meant to serve others through professionalism, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to doing things the right way.” Memorial Service arrangements for Major Danny Heady are currently pending.
