Cumberland Medical Center has implemented temporary visitor restrictions due to an increase in respiratory illness and flu.
Visitors under the age of 12 are not permitted to visit patients at this time at Cumberland Medical Center.
Anyone experiencing respiratory symptoms (fever, cough, runny nose, or sore throat) may not visit patients at CMC.
These restrictions apply to all Convenant Health patient care areas.
UT Medical Center and Blount Memorial Hospital have also restricted visitors due to the increase in flu activity in Tennessee.
