Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 5025 has announced its essay contest awardees. CCHS Senior Molly Neal, who submitted the theme “Is America Today Our Forefather’s Vision?”, was the Voice of Democracy Winner.
Daisy R. McCloud, an 8th-grade student from Pine View Elementary School, was named the 2024-2025 Patriot’s Pen 1st-place winner for VFW Post 5025 for her essay “My Voice in America’s Democracy”.
Both Neal and McCloud received a total of $150 from the Post and Auxiliary.
