A strong system will approach the area starting tonight with strong winds likely in the mountains late tonight into the early morning.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Friday through Wednesday
Mountain wave enhanced strong winds are possible across the mountains and foothills off and on until Saturday morning. Also,the strong system will bring abundant moisture and showers and storms Friday into Saturday. Locally heavy rainfall could lead to localized flooding, even with ongoing drought conditions. A few storms could produce damaging winds along the Plateau and Southern Valley counties.
