Snow began collecting on roadways shortly before noon Saturday (1/24/2026) in Monterey, Tennessee especially on I-40 overpasses. Conditions grew worse to the west and road crews are working around the clock as Winter Storm Fern moves through the state. Officials are asking everyone to stay off roads if possible.
