Winter Storm Fern knocked out power to hundreds of Volunteer Energy Cooperative Customers on Saturday. Around 9pm VEC reported that 426 customers in Cumberland County were without electricity, 91 in Meigs County and dozens more in the service area. VEC was unable to provide an estimated restoration time and thanked customers for their patience as crews worked as quickly as possible to make repairs.
