Volunteer Energy Cooperative has scheduled a Planned Power Outage for the Lantana and Crab Orchard Substations at 1PM CST on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. This Planned Power Outage is to remove a tree top on a main transmission line. Areas of impact include: Tansi, Crab Orchard, Ozone, Vandever, Sherwood Farms, Alloway, Grassy Cove and parts of Bledsoe County. Electricity could be off in these areas for about 1 hour.
