Two men were arrested Tuesday (Jan. 27, 2026) after they allegedly kicked in the crawl space door of a home on Big Horn Drive in Lake Tansi. Cumberland County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the burglary in progress shortly after midnight. Deputies found 48-year-old Donnie James Rector, Jr. and 50-year-old Richard Lee Todd Synder in the back of the crawl space with their faces covered by masks. They had a duffle bag containing multiple tools. Donnie Rector was charged with Aggravated Burglary, Possession of Burglary Tools, and 2 Counts of Violation of Probation. Richard Snyder was charged with Aggravated Burglary, Possession of Burglary Tools, and Vandalism.
