Project Hometown Help of Middle Tennessee Natural Gas Utility District has awarded a $500 grant to the Cumberland County Imagination Library in support of its mission to inspire a love of reading by providing free, high-quality books to children from birth to age five in Cumberland County.

Project Hometown Help is funded through the generosity of Middle Tennessee Natural Gas customers who voluntarily round up their monthly gas bills to the nearest dollar, along with direct donations from employees.

The $500 donation will directly fund age-appropriate books mailed each month to enrolled children in Cumberland County at no cost to their family.

Those seeking more information about the Cumberland County Imagination Library or wishing to make a tax-deductible donation may contact Treasurer James Houston at 931-484-6790 or visit The Art Circle Public Library, 3 East Street, Crossville, TN 38555.
