A Clarkrange man was arrested after he reportedly crashed his van into the fence at Stone Peak on Friday, February 13.  Crossville Police were dispatched to the ceramic manufacturing plant shortly after 6pm where a security officer informed them that 51-year-old Michael Hoover, who was a Stone Peak employee, had been at the business earlier that day to quit and came back to return a keycard.  Security said Hoover sat at the gate for several minutes before reversing his van and crashing into the fence.  Police contacted Mr. Hoover who was still in his vehicle at the plant entrance. Police report Hoover showed signs of intoxication and a substance believed to be beer was found in the van.  After blood was drawn at CMC, Hoover was transported to jail and charged with Driving Under the Influence.
