The District 7AAA High School Basketball Tournament tipped off Friday evening at Cookeville High School. The Cumberland County High School Lady Jets season ended with a 51-46 loss to the Livingston Academy Lady Wildcats. The Lady Jets posted two regular season wins over the Lady Wildcats, but LA advanced with the victory on Friday. The Lady Jets posted 16 wins this season.
Saturday (2/21) at Cookeville High School. The Stone Memorial High School Panthers, Lady Panthers, and Cumberland County High School Jets will all see their first tournament action. At 4:30 the Panthers take on the Jets and at 6:00 the Lady Panthers, the regular season District Champions, play the Lady Wildcats from Livingston Academy.
