One person was killed Wednesday (3/4/2026) in a late afternoon crash on 127 North in Cumberland County. According to the THP, around 4:30pm, 77-year-old Stephanie Richmond, of Tennessee, was traveling north near Miller Ridge when her Nissan Versa crossed the center line and struck a southbound Ford F150 driven by 57-year-old Eric Laub, of Tennessee. Richmond died and Mr. Laub sustained possible injuries. Truck passenger 59-year-old Samantha Laub was injured. Charges are pending, according to the THP.
