The Crossville City Council in regular session on Tuesday, passed a resolution to enter into negotiations with the Cumberland Plateau Water Authority. The resolution, passed in a 4-1 vote, allows the City to negotiate the potential sale, transfer or other conveyance of the City’s water assets to the CPWA. It was emphasized that the resolution is non-binding and any final agreements may be subject to a referendum.
