It’s that time of the year again to fill out your NCAA Men’s & Women’s Basketball brackets. For the seventh straight season you’ll find both the Tennessee Volunteers and Lady Volunteers vying for a National Championship.

The Volunteers will be a 6-seed in the Mid-West region heading into the tournament. The Vols will play on Friday as they await the winner of the 11-seed play-in game which will be played by Miami (OH) and SMU. The Vols Round of 64 game will be Friday afternoon at 3:25 PM in Philadelphia. Coverage of the game from the Vol Network will be heard on 102.5 WOW Country.

For the 44th straight time the Tennessee Lady Volunteers have made the NCAA Women’s Tournament. The blue blood program is the only team to ever make every NCAA Women’s Tournament dating back to 1982. The eight-time National Champion Lady Vols will be heading into this year’s tournament with a rare double-digit seed. Tennessee will play as a 10-seed in the Fort Worth 3 region. Kim Caldwell’s Lady Vols will play 7-seeded North Carolina State in Ann Arbor Michigan on Friday with a time to be determined. Lady Vols coverage will be heard on MIX 99.3

There are three other schools from the state of Tennessee that will be playing in the Men’s and Women’s tournaments. On the Women’s side the Vanderbilt Commodores will play as a #2 seed against #15 High Point on Saturday. For the Men the Vanderbilt Commodores will be a #5 seed playing against #12 McNeese Thursday at 2:15 PM, while #15 Tennessee State will look to be a Cinderella story as they play #2 Iowa State on Friday at 1:50 PM.

All Vol and Lady Vol post season games can be heard on 102.5 WOW Country and MIX 99.3 respectively.
