Hwy 84 Crash Shuts Down Both Lanes Outside of Monterey Thursday

Both lanes of Highway 84 were shut down just outside of the Monterey City Limits Thursday afternoon due to a collision at Woodcliff Road.  People who live in the area noted an increase in traffic due to motorists attempting to avoid a tractor-trailer fire on I-40 east at the 298 mile marker.
