Cumberland County Schools Warns of Employment Scam

Director of Schools Dr. Rebecca Farley has issued a warning regarding a scam offering employment opportunities. The scammers are using the Cumberland County school system’s logo, Central Office address, as well as teachers’ names.  They say you have received a job and then claim they need money to install equipment so you may be able work from home.  This is a scam. The school system does not hire people to work remotely.  Please do not send money to these individuals.  Should this happen to you, contact local law enforcement.
