A Crossville man was arrested after allegedly assaulting his cousin and seriously injuring her boyfriend at a Davidson Court residence. A female victim told Police that she arrived home from shopping to find her cousin, 38-year-old Jamie Davidson, in her home with her boyfriend. The woman said Davidson was “acting crazy and destroying stuff inside the residence”. She said Davidson began hitting her in the face with his fist. He then reportedly picked up her boyfriend and threw him head first into a fireplace and ran out of the house. When Police arrived to the home, the male victim was found on the floor and was unable to move from the neck down. He was transported to UT Medical Center due to the severity of his injuries. Davidson was apprehended in a wooded area near Highway 70 East. He has been charged with Aggravated Assault, Resisting Arrest, Public Intoxication and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
